Visitation Policies:

Prisoners are required to wear state-issued apparel during visit
A prisoner can only visit with individuals who have been placed on the prisoner’s approved Visitor List.
The following may visit an inmate without being on the approved Visitor’s List: qualified clergy, a volunteer in an outreach program an attorney, or legal representative, an official representative of the legislative, judicial, or executive branch of government, a Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), or Friend of the Court employee
All visitors are required to present a valid pictured government ID
During contact visits, physical contact is allowed once at the beginning and end of each visit
A prisoner shall be allowed to visit only with his/her own visitors
Inmates in segregation are limited to non-contact visits
Visits may be terminated if the visiting room is overcrowded
A visit shall be terminated for any of the following reasons:
If the visitor is an unaccompanied minor
The inmate is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
The prisoner or visitor fails to comply with facility rules
The visitor is verbally abusive toward individuals at the facility
The prisoner commits misconduct during the visit
If there is reasonable suspicion to believe the visit is being conducted to commit an illegal act
