Classification is determined by assessing an inmate’s current charges and previous convictions. Inmates are served three meals a day in the morning, afternoon, and night. The Osceola County Jail offers inmates the opportunity to participate in trustee and inmate worker programs, which may help reduce their sentence. Jail operations function 24 hours, 7 days a week. How to Send Mail or Package
All inmate mail must be sent through USPS and be written on a prepaid postcard. All mail is subject to inspection for illegal materials. Mail from attorneys, courts, and government officials will be opened in the presence of an inmate, but have its confidentiality preserved. Mail that is rejected for security reasons will be returned to the sender with an explanation as to why the mail was rejected. Money can be deposited online, at the kiosk in the jail lobby, or by sending a money order through the mail.
