How to Send Mail or Package

Money may be added to inmates’ accounts through a kiosk in the Sheriff’s Office lobby, by phone at 866-422-6833, or online through the websites of either InmateSales or ExpressAccount. Credit and debit cards are accepted for online deposits, which also incur a service fee.

Visitation Hours

Inmates may receive onsite or remote video visits. Onsite visits are held at a kiosk in the Sherrif’s Office lobby. No one under 17 years of age may visit unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Visits may be scheduled through CPCJail’s website. A photo ID and email address are required to set up a CPC account, which is required for video visits. An InmateSales app is required for remote visits. For assistance scheduling video visits, call 866-340-7879.

The county jail is operated by the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office. It includes patrol, operations, investigation, and corrections divisions. The current Sheriff is Scott B. Hodshire. The Office also has an app available for download on any smartphone.

Requests should describe the records requested in detail and provide the requestor’s contact information. The charges for copies of records include any associated printing and/or mailing fees and labor costs billed in 15 minute increments.
