Funds can be added to an inmate’s account in person. The EZ Kiosk in the lobby accepts debit/credit cards and cash can be deposited at the Sheriff’s Department. Personal checks and money orders are not accepted. To add money to an inmate’s account online, go to Express Account’s website.

Visitation Hours

The visitation schedule at Cass County Jail is based on inmates’ last names. Each inmate is allowed up to two 30-minute visits daily. Visits must be scheduled 12 hours in advance. Up to 4 visitors are allowed at once and visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Inmates are provided 1 free video visit each week using the video visitation kiosks in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office. There is a charge for offsite visits, which can be purchased and scheduled online through ICSolutions website. Remote visitors must register with ICSolutions and download the ICS Mobile visitation app onto their Windows computer, Android, or iOS device.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office hosts an online request portal for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for public safety records. In the form, requesters must describe the records being requested as specifically as possible, select a delivery method (pick up, mail, or email), and either consent to or request a waiver of fees. The cost of records includes labor costs billed in 15 minute increments and any copying and/or postage fees incurred.
